Meet Aisha – Egyptian Volunteer

Meet Aisha Grant, a 17-year-old teenager from Cairo, Egypt.

At the tender age of 2 years old, she and her family relocated to Cairo, Egypt. She was exposed to the arts when she was very young, inspired by her father and uncle. She joined us to volunteer in our summer art camp during week two, with the theme being ‘Around the World.’ She added a special touch to week 2 as her cultural background inspired not only the campers but the staff also.

She will be volunteering at the summer art camp until she returns to the UK to further her studies in art. She is very mild tempered and passionate about the arts. She is thoroughly enjoying her time here at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.

“We are thrilled to have been joined by Aisha Grant as a volunteer from Egypt. While sacrificing her summer rather than waste her youthfulness, she has put her youth to good energetic work and commitment, helping with our children’s summer art and education camp. She has been a great asset. We thank her for finding us and wish her well on her return home.” – Tom Butterfield.
