Rory Jackson: A Divine Turquoise Isle

Masterworks Museum Visiting Artist Programme is pleased to welcome Rory Jackson to the Rick Faries Gallery with his show, “A Divine Turquoise Isle.”

Rory splits his time between the vast skies of Vermont and the coastal communities of Cape Three Points, Ghana. Working in oils he focuses on capturing a moment in time; the light on the mountains, the vibrancy of people, boats and seascapes.

Rory says: “The beauty that makes up the island of Bermuda is a painters dream. Everywhere you look there is a handsome composition of unique colorful houses and streets, vegetation and grass-covered yards. The most stunning is the water, like a wild horse, it is light-filled and impossible to capture. It is a joy to attempt to describe this beautiful place with brush strokes and linseed-mixed pigments, to remember and share these moments on this turquoise isle.”

Masterworks is delighted to exhibit this passionate painter’s work and hope all will join us at the opening reception on Friday November 1st, 5:30 pm-7 pm.
