10 Years a Museum-Redux

We welcome you to visit 10 Years a Museum: REDUX, our extended homage to the impact and mission of the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art. We have enhanced our major IMAGINE exhibit, adding exciting artworks and artifacts as we continue to collect, preserve and interpret the muse that is Bermuda.

The majority of the works on display are gifts to the museum in the last decade. Many donated since Masterworks opened the doors to its purpose-built museum in 2008. This is a testament to the support of the ongoing legacy that the museum can share for years to come. As you enter the gallery, be sure to play the special welcome from Masterworks’ Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, KG KT GCB OM, and a watercolor lithograph HRH The Prince of Wales donated in support of Masterworks. The lithograph will be auctioned as a fundraiser for Masterworks in April 2019.

The current exhibition is supported by the recent gifts from Estrellita Karsh, the widow of the famed Canadian photographer, Yosef Karsh. These profound photos feature Muhammad Ali, Winston Churchill, and Georgia O’Keeffe. The exhibition also celebrates works by Winslow Homer, and Georgia O’Keeffe, both of whom were inspired by Bermuda, her beauty, and her people during their visits to the island.

Open daily, Monday-Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is $10 for non-members.
Group and private tours are available. Call 299-4000 or email info@masterworksbermuda.org for more information.
